Mt Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand(3755meters).
The view is also very different from other places in New Zealand we've seen.
The area around Mt. Cook is full of shrivelled grass.
The snow covered most of the mountains.
The mountains are so bright and shine in the sunlight.
It is white in the morning while it is bright orange during the sunset.
We pulled up at Hermitage Motel, a famous international hotel.
Lots of Japanese were here.
It's also famous for the good view of Mt. Cook here.
Surprisingly, the price here in the information center was cheap!
I bought lots of postcards here (50C/ each) and also learned how to distinguish Southern Cross.
I was so excited about it.
